On Friday and Saturday, January 24-25, was the Nomination, Proclamation, and Consecration of Bishop elect Alexis (Trader) as Bishop of Bethesda of the Orthodox Church in America. The events took place at St Nicholas Cathedral in Washington D.C. The Presiding Hierarch was the Most Blessed TIKHON, Archbishop of Washington, Metropolitan of All America and Canada. Concelebrating with His Beatitude were members of the Holy Synod and His Grace Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta.
